Tomorrowland Speedway Tips

  • Scary Factor: Not scary. It’s a family-friendly ride where the thrill comes from 'driving' rather than speed or intensity and of course does NOT go upside down.
  • Speed: Despite the name, this is NOT a fast ride. Cars travel at a leisurely 7 mph, making it exciting for younger kids but mild for adults.
  • Ride Duration: Typically lasts 4 to 5 minutes on a 0.4-mile track.
  • Drops: None. The track is flat with gentle curves and no steep inclines.
  • Pregnancy Advisory: Not recommended for pregnant guests due to minor bumps and vibrations on the track.
  • Plus-Size Friendly: Bench-style seating accommodates most body types, though space can feel snug for larger adults. Entering and exiting may be challenging due to the low seating position.
  • Accessibility: Guests must transfer to a low, small car seat from a wheelchair, stepping over the side of the vehicle to sit close to the ground. Service animals not permitted.
  • Sensory Advisory: Tomorrowland Speedway features gas-powered cars, resulting in strong fumes and loud engine noises. Sensitive guests, especially those affected by strong smells, may find this ride overwhelming.
  • Best Age Group: Ideal for kids aged 5 to 10 who love the idea of driving. Great for family bonding and young first-time drivers.
