5 Things to Know about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

We’re almost there! The anxiously awaited opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom park is finally happening. Here’s what we know so far:

1. There will be plenty of previews

But riding before the official June 28th, 2024, opening is going to take a bit of pixie dust. Previews are planned for Cast Members (June 2, 3-7, and 23-26); DVC members (June 12 and 19), media (June 10-11), Club 33 members (June 12), and Annual Passholders (June 13,14, 15, 16,17, 18, 20, but MK reservations are already sold out for those dates). Anyone left?

2. There will be VQ and LL

In keeping with other recent openings, there will no standby queue. Instead, guests can register for a Virtual Queue twice daily (7 a.m. and 1 p.m.) or purchase Genie+ service for the day to access a Lightning Lane.

3. There will be beignets

Tiana’s Famous Beignets will be served up at Golden Oak Outpost and Friar’s Nook. Verdict’s out on whether they’ll be tastier than the beloved Port Orleans beignets, though.

4. There will be merch

Both Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and The Princess and the Frog-inspired collections will be available at Emporium at opening, before moving over to Critter Co-Op in Frontierland.

5. There will be a photo op

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will feature a PhotoPass attraction photo available view Memory Maker. The adorable keepsake features Bayou critters and Ray 🥹.

Have you secured a preview spot or will we be seeing you on June 28th?
